SPHE426 Principles of Corrective Exercise (3 semester hours)
The purpose of this course is to provide an understanding of exercise physiology, biomechanics, and exercise prescription for those in need of remedial exercise programming. This course will examine the theory and practice associated with functional and corrective exercise program design and progression when movement dysfunctions and imbalances are present. In addition, scope of practice, limitations, and coordination of care with health care professionals will be addressed. (Prerequisite SPHE317)
