This course provides students with an introduction to modeling and simulation at the undergraduate or at the graduate level. It includes an introduction to discrete event simulation (DES) as well as simulation methodology, input data modeling, output data analysis, and a broad overview of DES tools. It also includes an introduction to continuous simulation (CS) as well as simulation methodology, differential equation models, numerical solution techniques, and a broad overview of CS tools.
