BUSN309 Legal Research and Writing for Business (3 semester hours)

In Legal Research and Writing for Business, students will learn and practice the skills necessary for identifying, locating, and using legal resources, including primary sources of administrative, statutory, and case law, and as well as secondary authority. Students will use computer research tools, which are essential sources of information for successful business practice. Students will also evaluate the results of their legal research in application to case studies in discussions, written assignments, and a culminating course project.
