Bachelor of Arts in Business
Program Description
The Bachelor of Arts in Business focuses on producing well-rounded graduates who possess knowledge from a variety of disciplines, a solid understanding of business principles, technology, problem solving and critical thinking skills. This business degree program is designed to provide flexibility and is applicable for careers in any number of business, government, military, or other professions. Graduates gain a solid foundation for advancing career goals or pursuing graduate study in related areas.
This program has been designed in consultation with industry business leaders and is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP®).

Degree Program Objectives
In addition to the institutional and degree level learning objectives, graduates of this program are expected to achieve these learning outcomes:
- Apply project management principles and techniques to manage business projects effectively.
- Recommend business continuity strategies to ensure smooth operations during crises or other disruptions to normal business operations.
- Evaluate internal and external factors that influence recommended business strategies related to systems, processes, and technology.
- Investigate the applicability of leadership and motivational theories in support of leading teams and making effective and ethical business decisions in various business scenarios.
- Apply critical thinking skills to analyze complex business problems and develop innovative solutions.
- Describe the global business environments, including cultural, economic, and legal differences.
